Had a wonderful stay at alka inn. The 2 lads on reception alfaz and ihsan Are both very professional and helpful. Every request was professionally dealt with . For India standards the rooms are excellent and I would say there possibly 3.5- 4 star. I booked the king size room which was very spacious with a very clean bathroom, with amenities provided. We requested a late check out which was granted with no fuss at all. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting ahmedabad. All main attractions are reachable via short taxi rides. A very big thankyou to all the staff at hotel alka inn.

Hotel staff extremely cooperative & with responsibility.We left at hotel one one mobile charger-- It was handed overto my friend at the lift gate at the of exit.Later on we were informed that we left one umbrella,the umbrella was kept at the Reception with proper tag .We collected the umbrella on way back to Ahmedabad Jn..

Very modern decor in the hotel and great food, which you can order from a large menu by room service. Breakfast was also good. The price comfort ratio is great. It's a budget place for 10 to 20 Euro per night. Nicely renovated, good internet, friendly receptionist, good location, close to the metro station in the old town. I looked at 15 other hotels and this was definitely the best hotel for this price, even though there are other similary hotels.
